Health Education becomes the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. In health education classes students learn the keys to lifelong wellness.

These keys are...
*Having health knowledge - information that is needed to develop health literacy, maintain and improve health, prevent disease, and reduce health-related risk behaviors.
*Choose wellness behaviors - actions that promote health, prevent illness, injury, and premature death, and improve the quality of the environment.
*Choose to have healthful relationships - promote self-esteem and productivity, encourage health-enhancing behavior, and are free of violence and drug misuse and abuse.
*Make responsible decisions -  show respect for self and others, follow guidelines set by responsible adults such as parents and guardians, and demonstrate good character.
