Mrs. Nowmos teaches general/vocal music to grades pre-K through 4 at the Mary S. Shoemaker School. She also directs the 3rd and 4th Grade Choruses, the Select Chorus, 3rd and 4th Grade Percussion Ensembles, and 3rd/4th Grade Folk Dance group. Prior to teaching in the Woodstown-Pilesgrove School District, Mrs. Nowmos taught elementary general/vocal music in Hamilton Twp. (Atlantic Co., NJ) Public Schools and instrumental music in several South Jersey parochial and private schools. Mrs. Nowmos is an experienced performer on several instruments, including piano, euphonium, trombone, flute, trumpet, and voice. She is a professional piano accompanist and is available as a classical or jazz /contemporary pianist, flutist, or vocalist for weddings and other functions in the NJ /DE/Phila. region. Mrs. Nowmos lives in Woodstown with her husband, Jeff, her son, George (born 9/25/03), and her Dalmatian mix, Jessie. Jeff is a professional guitarist and pianist and is a guitar and piano teacher. Mr. and Mrs. Nowmos often perform together as a duo and have provided music for many weddings throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia metro area (visit their wedding music website to hear samples of their playing and singing!). They also enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, and playing with George and Jessie!
